1980's Purple Sleeveless Cocktail Dress by Samir Size 4

Classy, sexy, evening dress. Fabric bunching at the bust and around the torso. Beautiful bead applique at the chest. Zipper in the back. Shoulders have permanent shoulder pads, but they are medium in thickness and fit naturally with the dress. Tag reads Samir for Antonio Ruspoli, 100% Polyester. It says it's a size 8, but it runs small like most vintage clothing. I'd say it's a modern size 4, but here are the measurements when laying flat:
